Hello Dezeen mailing list... all 9,000 of you! Dezeenmail hit 9,000 subscribers in October, and we're getting 1,000 new subscribers a month. So it's worth the late nights putting this together... keep reading and spread the word!

Dezeen's traffic is growing fast too, rising above 900,000 readers last month (see below for more details). But as traffic grows, so do the moany comments, and we want to know whether it's time for us to start being a bit more selective of the comments we publish.

Dubai gives the finger to the economic crisis: architects Chris Bosse and Tobias Wallisser of LAVA have unveiled the Michael Schumacher World Champion Tower, the first in a series of seven skyscrapers named after the former motor racing champion.
