Hello Dezeen mailing list! We're gearing up for the autumn design fair season with a whole bunch of projects and reader offers: scroll down for details of the exhibition we're curating in London this autumn, plus the right column has details of an exclusive half-price offer to stay at The Jones hotel (where the exhibition is being held).
Also in the right column are details of competitions to win free exhibition space at Tokyo Designers Week and Tent London, plus a call for entries for the British Council's Young Design Entreprenuer Award.
All the latest jobs are in the right column too, plus details of yet another summer offer - during August you can place two job ads on Dezeenjobs for the price of one.
Finally a bit of housekeeping - Dezeen is moving to a brand new server at the start of next week to cope with our ever-growing traffic (we're set to get over 700,000 visitors this month). While the work is being carried out we won't be able to post new stories on Dezeen for a couple of days, but the site should still be accessible throughout.
Here's our pick of the stories and comments since the last newsletter...

A reader calling himself Unpopular reacts to concern over the lack of balustrades in David Chipperfield and Antony Gormley's pavilion for the Kivik Art Centre in Österlen, Sweden. "Broken leg as form of idiot tax," he adds. Read the story and the comments »

Or a "bridge that can float". Or "the flash older brother of Noo-noo from Teletubbies". Foster + Partners' Signature Series yacht looks like anything except a boat, according to our commenters. Read the story and the comments »

Our two stories about Frank Gehry’s Serpentine Gallery Pavilion are the most-commented posts of the last few weeks. Has Gehry lost the plot? Read the story and the comments »

Oliver Bishop-Young's SkipWaste project has been the most-viewed story this month - and several readers have pointed out similar projects by other designers. Cue heated debate about originality and copying in design. Read the story and the comments »

Oh dear - Fabrica Decorative System by Sam Baron has also triggered howls about plagiarism. Plus many readers question Baron's credentials as head of design at Fabrica... Read the story and the comments »

Maarten Baas has an exhibition at Contrasts Gallery in Shanghai next month - and some readers feel he's copying himself. But should designers really produce an entirely new body of work each time they have a show? Read the story and the comments »

Readers think this toy library on a sixties high-rise estate by LAN Architecture looks a bit of a child-scarer - but check our update showing photos of the interior. Read the story and the comments »

Is it an ode to Le Corbusier, or to Mies van der Rohe? Will the owners get attacked by bugs? Can they walk round naked without the neighbours seeing? Feldbalz on Lake Zurich by Swiss architect Gus Wüstemann has prompted these questions, and more. Read the story and the comments »

Our readers clearly know more about bikes than we do. The consensus is that Veloheld by designers Neongrau.id is impractical and not very original. Oh well, it still looks nice. Read the story and the comments »
Enjoy the sunshine...
